California VIN Verification
The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) requires auto insurance companies to report Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN). The DMV uses this information to verify liability insurance, which is required to renew the vehicle registration.
Please verify that the VIN on your vehicle registration matches the VIN on your Mercury auto insurance policy. If these two numbers do not match, please download a VIN Verification Worksheet (Adobe Reader® Required) and submit it to Mercury.
